Intermediate Sivananda Series

Tuesday Nights 7 p.m.

I love all types of yoga. I love trying new teachers, different styles, attending workshops on things completely new to me… And still, I come back again and again to traditional hatha yoga practiced in the style created by Swami Vishnudevananda from the Sivananda lineage. This is what feels like home to me.

I’m honored and inspired to share this practice with you on Tuesday nights beginning April 25th 7:00-8:15 p.m. This four-week series is open to class-card holders and drop ins. I ask that you please have at least 3 years of regular yoga experience to attend.

Each Tuesday night we will move through the sequence with a different focus and emphasis.

Week 1: Discover the series of 12 postures, breath work, chanting, and guided savasana.

Week 2: Explore the reasoning behind the sequencing and how this relates to our energetic body (chakras).

Week 3: Inversions, their benefits, and how to develop a safe, steady inversion practice.

Week 4: Variations. Explore how and when to introduce variations to your practice.
